Gold Star Banner CLOSEOUT
#SERG $12.95
Limited
to the one in stock
8x12", sewn design
These are not a printed design like the blue star service banners. They
are sewn.
Gold star banners symbolize the sacrifice of service personnel who have
died while serving currently. They are not for veterans who died during
past conflicts such as Vietnam. The service or death does not have to be
in combat. It does not have to be in any particular country. Gold Star
banners are to symbolize the sacrifice made by current service people. For
display only by the immediate family. See above.

The Honor & Remember flag
The Honor & Remember flag was developed
by the Honor and Remember organization to create, establish and promote a
nationally recognized flag that would fly continuously as a visible
reminder to all Americans of the lives lost in defense of our national
freedoms.
The goal of this organization is to promote broad national awareness of
the flag, so that military, government and educational facilities as well
as households throughout the country would begin flying the Honor and
Remember Flag to promote recognition of our nation's fallen warriors.
Annin Flagmakers gives back a portion of the proceeds from the sale of
these flags to the Honor and Remember organization. They, in turn, use
these funds to support the effort of donating an Honor and Remember Flag
to those families who have lost a loved one in military service to
America.

Screen dyed outdoor nylon with heading
and grommets, single/reverse design
#MIL4 $65.95
The Honor and Sacrifice Flag® was
developed on the 15th Anniversary of 9/11 to honor those in all divisions
of
public safety that lost their lives in an effort to save others. It’s a
symbol of thanks in memory of those heroic
first responders.
Flag Symbolism:
The Blue Field symbolizes nationally the law enforcement community.
The Purple Field respectfully signifies mourning for a loss in the
firefighter community.
The White Field recognizes the purity of heart within each individual who
serves and protects and is willing to face
each day’s challenges regardless of risk.
The Black Star represents those who wear the distinctive badge including
sheriff and marshal services.
The Red Maltese Cross recognizes all who have fallen in the emergency
response communities.
The Gold Shield recognizes all law enforcement and other public safety
representatives who wear the shield,
including EMT and have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Gold reflects the value of the life given.
The Folded Flag signifies the final tribute to an individual life that a
family has lost for the sake of others.
The Flame is an eternal reminder of the spirit that has departed this life
yet burns on in the memory of all who
knew and loved the fallen hero.
