The "Mighty Mite" cap style light duty truck. This little guy can solve a big problem. It can be hard finding a small truck. Not anymore. It caps over a small diameter pipe or pole. Cast aluminum no-rust design with no-rust nylon sheave pulley wheel. It accepts the same ball, eagle or other ornaments as our other trucks. They call it a 1.25" diameter truck, but as near as I can measure it has a 15/16" inside diameter. Its two set screws would give you some room for error. Also fits inside of a 15/8" ID pole. It might be just the thing you need for that do-it-your-self home made flagpole.

This adapter is great for you guys doing the old classic light pole conversion. Aluminum light poles can be a great find. Usually the story is that you wind up with one for free or very little money. The tough part is, the top diameter is usually too large to accept a cap style truck. And the top is never threaded to accept a threaded style truck. Well, here is the solution to your problem. But light poles are a great deal compared to what a flagpole of that quality would cost. The investment in parts is well worth it.

The bottom of the spindle has a 11/4” NPT threading and is screwed into the top of the flagpole while the top spindle is designed to accept an ornament with a spindle threading of 1/2”-13NC as standard but can be supplied with other sizes of threading. Answer: Only one. It is on top of the flagpole. All those other things are vehicles!

Then one of my readers in uniform sent this correction: "First of all, they are posts, camps or garrisons but never bases. I am stationed at ---/---/--- of _______. We have two trucks on our post. Just thought you’d like to know.
