Military and service flags represent the people who serve our communities and our country. We offer a large selection of military, law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other service flags in a variety of sizes and styles.

For outdoor use, size coordination matters. When flying a service flag alongside the U.S. flag, both should be the same size, with the U.S. flag at the peak or on its own higher pole. If you’re installing a multi-pole display — a common setup at American Legion halls, VFW posts, and municipal buildings — we can walk you through proper display order for your specific configuration.
Indoor ceremonial sets — the flag on a pole with fringe, in a floor stand or wall bracket — are the right choice for offices, board rooms, schools, and ceremonial halls. We stock the complete indoor/parade sets with poles, spears, and fringe in both 3×5 and 4×6.
We also carry specialty military flags: the National Guard flag, individual service academy flags, and the Merchant Marine flag. For formally organized units and posts that need specific designations, call us. We’ve sourced regimental and unit flags before and can usually find what’s needed.
Bulk orders for post installations, memorials, and events are a regular part of what we do. If you’re coordinating a multi-flag installation or a Memorial Day event, call us early — the large ceremonial sets can take a few days to pull together at quantity.
Frequently Asked Questions About Military Flags
What is the correct order of precedence for military flags?
When flying the Armed Forces flags together, the order of precedence from left to right (as seen by an observer facing the display) is: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard. This is the order established by the Department of Defense, based on date of establishment. The U.S. flag always flies first, in the position of honor.
What size military flag do I need for indoor display?
The standard indoor display size is 3×5 with a pole hem and gold fringe, mounted on a ceremonial pole. For sets displayed behind a desk or in a conference room, 2×3 is also common. For VFW halls, American Legion posts, and formal ceremonial spaces, 4×6 with fringe is the most appropriate. Call us if you're outfitting a specific space and we'll help you choose the right configuration.
Do you carry POW/MIA flags?
Yes. We stock the POW/MIA flag in the sizes required under Public Law 105-225, which mandates POW/MIA flag display at specific government locations including post offices, federal courthouses, VA medical centers, national cemeteries, and certain other federal buildings. If you're a VFW or Legion post confirming compliance, call us and we'll confirm the correct size and configuration.
Can I fly a military branch flag alongside the American flag outdoors?
Yes. When flying a service flag outdoors alongside the U.S. flag, both should be the same size and flown on separate poles of equal height, with the U.S. flag in the position of honor. Flying a service flag from the same halyard as the U.S. flag is not recommended and not in keeping with flag etiquette.
Do you carry individual branch flags — Army, Navy, Marine Corps — separately?
Yes, every branch flag is available individually. You don't have to order a full set. Individual branch flags are in stock in both outdoor nylon and indoor/parade configurations.
