Counterweights

These counterweights are primarily used on internal halyard flagpoles to help keep the flag properly tensioned and aligned. They reduce excessive movement, improve flag control, and assist with smooth raising and lowering.

Each counterweight is fabricated from 2" diameter steel and finished with a durable plastisol coating.

Eyebolt Configuration by Weight:

• 3-1/2 lb. Counterweight – Supplied with one eyebolt attached to one end

• 7 lb. & 14 lb. Counterweights – Supplied with two eyebolts, one on each end

Proper counterweight size depends on flag size, pole height, and wind conditions. If you’re unsure which weight is best for your flagpole, we’re happy to help you choose the correct option.
