Union 1st Corps Guidon (Army of the Potomac)

The 1st Corps of the Union Army was commanded by Joseph Hooker at the Battle of Antietam, John F. Reynolds at Fredericksburg, and Abner Doubleday at Gettysburg, after General Reynolds was killed on the first day of the battle.

Widely regarded as one of the most distinguished corps in the Union Army, the 1st Corps earned a reputation for discipline, leadership, and hard fighting throughout the Civil War.
